Care advice
Follow these simple steps and your beautiful jewelry will last a lifetime.
Usage
Silver jewelry will darken/oxidize naturally over time. We recommend removing jewelry when you shower or bathe and especially when you are on the beach, in the sea and in chlorinated water.
Avoid spraying perfume or applying creams directly to your jewelry. Keep them away from extreme temperatures, moisture and sunlight, and avoid wearing your jewelry when using bleach.
Storage
To protect your jewelry, it should be placed individually in a bag or in a soft-lined box to prevent scratching or tangling. Store your jewelery in a dark, cool and dry place. Ideally, silver jewelry should be stored in an airtight plastic bag, so-called zip bag, to reduce discoloration and oxidation.
Cleaning
Precious Metal. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to effectively keep silver and gold jewelry beautiful and shiny. A silver polish can also be used to clean sterling silver. Do not use tissue paper or paper towels to clean metal as they can cause scratches.
Precious stones. As many gemstones are quite sensitive, hot water, strong chemicals and cleaning agents should be avoided at all times. We recommend cleaning gemstones with a clean, soft, damp cloth after use. Highly porous stones such as turquoise and emeralds should be cleaned with an untreated, dry, soft cloth. Do not use tissue paper or paper towels to clean gemstones as they can cause scratches.
